Our Mission

To provide free, high-quality education for children between the ages of 6 and 15, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

CHAI believes education should not only prepare children for examinations but also prepare them for life.

Our Vision

To build a community where education creates opportunity for entire families.

Rather than depending only on donations CHAI will combine education with local craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, environmental responsibility and community service.

The school will become financially sustainable while preserving the traditional skills of Kashmir.

Hilal Goona

Founder & Community Builder

A Kashmiri craftsman, exporter, and community builder with a deep-rooted connection to the land and its people.

Hilal’s years of experience in traditional crafts and the heirloom sector revealed the potential to turn heritage into opportunity.

Cody Clark

Co-Founder & Strategist

An expert in strategy, systems, and community development with a passion for creating lasting change.

Cody works behind the scenes to build strong foundations, partnerships, and sustainable systems for CHAI.

Together, we can build a future where every child learns, every family earns with dignity, and every tradition continues to live.
